Chicken Rose Roll

Ingredients:

For Dough:



All Purpose Flour(Maida) - 2cups

Milk Powder - 1 tbsp

Sugar - 1 tsp
Egg - 1
Egg Yolk - 1 (for glazing)
Instant Yeast - 1/2 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp

For filling:

Chicken - 1cup (Boiled and Minced)
Onion - 2 chopped
Tomato - 1 chopped
Green chilli - 2 chopped
Ginger & garlic paste - 1tbsp
Curry leaves - 8 nos
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste

Method:

Heat oil, add onion and saute. When it turns light brown, add ginger-garlic paste and saute well. Add green chilly and curry leaves and saute. Add tomato and salt and saute. Add chilli,coriander, turmeric, pepper powder and garam masala and mix it well. Add chicken and mix everything together. Keep it aside.




In a bowl mix together all ingredients (except egg yolk for glazing), knead to a medium soft dough with slightly warm water and leave it to rise for 1 hour.


Divide the dough into equal sized balls (approx. 9 balls).



Then roll out the balls to about 4" diameter 


And shape the roses adding the filling as shown in the pictures.









Place prepared rolls on a greased tray.


Pre-heat the oven to 180 C. Brush each rose gently with egg yolk mixed with a tsp of milk.


Bake it for about 15-20 minutes or until tops are golden....


Rose Rolls are ready......
