Muhallabia is a traditional Arabic dessert dish, served during celebrations and after long fasts. Children love it for its flavor and natural sweetness.Flavorings such as vanilla, orange water, and rose water may be added to the pudding.
Ingredients:
Milk - 1 cup
Cornflour - 1 tbsp
Egg yolk - 2
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Cream - 2 tbsp
Vanilla essence - 1/4 tsp
Salt - a pinch
Rose water - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Cream - 2 tbsp

Method:
Boil milk 3/4 cup. Add Cornflour and egg yolk to the 1/4 cup milk and stir well. Add the cornflour mixture to the hot milk and constantly stirring and cook until the mixture thickens. Add the cream,salt,vanilla essence and rose water and and mix well. Pour the mixture into small bowls. Garnish with the chopped badam.
