Dates Burfi

Ingredients:
Dates (deseeded) - 1 cup
Cashew nuts - 1/4 cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp
White sesame seeds - 2 tbsp.


Method:
Heat ghee in a pan and roast the cashew nuts in it. Remove the cashew nuts and keep it aside. Add dates to the pan and saute on a medium flame till dates become soft and pulpy. Then add roasted cashew nuts and mix well. Switch off and allow the mixture to cool a bit. Shape the mixture to a cylindrical roll. Spread sesame seeds in a plate and roll the dates mixture in it. Wrap it with aluminium foil and keep it in freezer for some time. Take out from freezer and cut into slices.
