Biskeemiya - A Maldives Special Dish
To make pastry:
1cup Flour
2tsp Oil
salt
Take all ingredients in bowl and mix well. Pour enough amount of water and knead well to make a soft dough. Keep it for 1hour.
To Make Filling:
1cup shredded Cabbage
1Onion chopped
3Green chilly chopped
1tsp Lemon juice
Curry leaves chopped
Salt
2boiled egg
Take cabbage,onion,green chilly salt and lemon juce in bowl and mix with your hands till it become soft. Then add chopped egg and gently mix it. keep it aside.
knead dough again and divide into small balls. Roll each ball into circle. Place 2tbsp of filling in the middle, fold the side in and make square shape. Repeat with the rest. Deep fry till golden colour on medium flame.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
