Ingredients:
Chicken - 1/ 2 kg
Egg - 1
Maida - 2 tbsp
Cornflour - 4 tbsp
Gingr & garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Chilly powder - 1tsp
Peppr powder - 1/2tsp
soya sauce - 1 tbsp
Vinegar - 1tsp
Salt - to taste
For gravy:
Ginger & garlic - 1tbsp
Onion - 2
Green chilli - 2
Capsicum - 1
Spring onion - 5
Chiiy sauce - 1tsp
Soya sauce - 2tsp
Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
Corn flour - 2tbsp
Chilly powder - 1tsp
Water - 1cup
Salt - to taste
Oil for frying
Method:
Clean and cut the chicken into small pieces without bone. Now marinate the chicken with egg, ginger-garlic paste, maida, cornflour, soya sauce,salt, vinegar, chilly and pepper powder. Mix everything well with the chicken and let it rest for 1hour in refrigerator. After that heat oil, deep fry the chicken pieces and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add chopped garlic, onion and saute for a minute.
Then add green chilly, capsicum and spring onion and stir well.
Then add tomato sauce, Soya sauce and chilli sauce.
Now add chilli powder and stir well. Then add water and boil. Add enough salt and stir well.
Add the fried chicken into it and cook for 5minutes.
Now mix 1 tbsp corn flour in a cup of water, add it and simmer until the required consistency is achieved.
Garnish with spring onion and serve hot.
Tasty chicken manchurian ready...
