For chocolate Cake:
3 egg
1cup sugar
1cup flour
1/2 cup coca powder
1tsp vanilla essence
1/2tsp baking powder
1/4tsp baking soda
100gm butter
1/2 cup sugar syrup
For Whipping Cream:
1cup cold milk
4tbsp icing sugar
2packets whipping powder
For Garnish:
1/2cup cherries
1cup grated chocolate
Method:
Mix maida, baking powder, baking soda and chocolate powder. Heat butter until melted.
Beat the egg with sugar. Add vanilla essence and butter and mix well.
Add flour mixture into it and mix together.
Heat a non-stick pot and add ghee. Then pour the egg mixture into it and cover with a lid. Cook on low flame until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Removes the cake from the pan and let them cool completely.
Beat milk with sugar and whipping powder until stiff peaks form.
Divide the cake into two equal horizontal parts. Soak both the parts with a 1/4cup sugar syrup.
Apply a thick layer of whipped cream on one part and place some chopped tinned cherries over this.
Then place the other part of the cake on top.
Now cover the cake completely with a thick layer of whipped cream on top as well as the sides.
Sprinkle grated chocolate curls all over sides and top.
Decorate the cake with whipping cream and cherries.
